Thanks for writing this review up! I've watched both 'One and Only' and 'Forever and Ever'. Your reactions to OaO - it's same with me. OaO is one of those dramas where your heart gets tortured but the rewarding majestic picture (of love) painted - you don't regret the pain. And yes, the Allen Ren video: he sang the theme song so beautifully - capturing the emo of the serial so well.

I found myself watching 'FaE' to the end. But I am really troubled and hope someone can help me out.

**SPOILER ALERT** !!....

The CP in FaE seem like very different people from the CP in OaO. Allen Ren's general in OaO is bold, brave and assertive. Allen Ren's professor in FaE is meek, timid, shy and socially awkward. Bailu's character in OaO is weak and withdrawn. Bailu's character in FaE is bold and daring. I cannot see the connection between the CP in OaO and CP in FaE - they seem like 2 different sets of CPs. Consequently, I cannot understand how FaE is a follow up story to OaO. They feel to me like 2 separate stand-alone stories. As a result - I have no healing from the trauma of OaO, which FaE is (as I understand it) there Happy Ending.

*END of SPOILER ALERT*

Don't bother about road home, too cheesy as you say. Can review the newish Korean drama Moving? Btw I think the young couple is too young to play the roles, or ah there are supposed to be young since it's past lives. I do remember the Prince was much older than her tho'
